Perth Panthers cruising at the vanguard after a complete, shut-out victory over the Scarborough Generals, 38-0. Football aside, sticking together through adversity will be the touchpoint for the Generals down the stretch that pays dividends in everyday life beyond the football field.

Mississauga KG Unit taking care of their business, defeating Toronto East Titans 33-14. After the Titans emotional win over the Kanisa Omegas, a 1-2 must be disappointing to a team with plenty of talent and upside.

Philadelphia Rolling Thunder were undefeated heading into a highly anticipated showdown with what appeared to be a moribund Kanisa Omegas under Saturday Night Lights on Crescent School Field. However, the Omegas won convincingly 39-27 and sent a very clear message to the elite of the league - the Kanisa Omegas are back on track and will be looking to assume what they feel is their rightful place atop the standings.

Competition is heating up in the DFL - and it's got nothing to do with the weather.
