Week2 Recap

There are plenty of story lines developing even at this early stage of the season.

The top story is, of course, the Philadelphia Rolling Thunder - aptly named, they are rolling off to a fast 2-0 start.

The Toronto East Titans and Perth Panthers have asserted that they are not pretenders, both enjoying a 1-0 start, with the Titans particularly savoring a grudge win over the team that eliminated them in last year's playoffs, the Kanisa Omegas.

Mississauga KG Unit and the Kanisa Omegas are two teams that, while sharing a .500 start, appear to be going in different directions: with players from the Spartans, KG Unit may be forging a new identity with upside potential, while conference champ TKO are leaving the door open to a new leader on the east side.

That all being said, anyone who's been around this league knows this season is far too early to start engraving any team name on a trophy just yet. There's a whole lot of football left to play before we have any indication of which teams will emerge to secure the vanguard.
